A cooking class will give you a hands-on introduction to Tuscan cuisine whilst visits to Siena and San Gimignano will allow you to explore some of the most picturesque towns in Tuscany. Day by Day Itinerary

  • DAY 1-ARRIVAL IN CHIANTI

    Private transfer from Florence or Rome airport to your Chianti country relais, located amongst the vineyard and the olive groves in the region. Welcome cocktail or tea upon your arrival. You will have time to settle in your room and have the afternoon free for leisure activities. Welcome dinner based on typical Tuscan products at your relais. Overnight in Chianti.

  • DAY 2 – SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANO

    In the morning meet your driver for a full day excursion. Arrival in Siena and guided visit of the city, one of the most beautiful Italian historical cities. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon you will head for San Gimignano, the perfectly preserved medieval town famous for its towers. Return to Chianti and dinner on your own. Overnight.

    • Piazza della Cisterna, the medieval towers and the Cathedral complex in S.Gimignano.
    • The Cathedral, Piazza del Campo, S.Domenico church.

    DO NOT MISS:

    • PA stop at Nannini coffee bar, a real institution in Siena for a great Italian espresso.
    • The Palio race, taking place twice a year in July and August and representing an eternal evidence of local ancestral folklore.
    • The Gelateria di Piazza in S.Gimignano, awarded with the recognition of the Rough Guide and nominated among the best ice-cream shops in the world.

  • DAY 3 -CHIANTI AREA AND COOKING CLASS

    In the morning departure for a tour to Chianti beautiful surroundings. You will visit the quaint piazza of Greve with its artisans’ shops and medieval streets. Afterwards, wine tasting in a local wine estate to appreciate the variety if Tuscan wines. Walk up to Montefioralle castle and enjoy the view of the valley. Lunch on own. In the early afternoon return your relais. Afterwards, enjoy a hands-on cooking class. You will learn how to make typical Tuscan dishes using the freshest local ingredients. Dinner based on your culinary efforts. Overnight in Chianti.
